Irene B. Walker

Irene B. Walker, 72, Route 5, died Tuesday at a local hospital.

Mrs. Walker was a native and lifetime resident of Council Bluffs. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She and her husband, George A. Walker, observed their 46th wedding anniversary last May.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Nancy) Fischer of Council Bluffs; one son, Mark G. of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cutler Chapel. The Rev. Sharon K. Maddox of St. Paul's United Church of Christ will officiate.

Burial will be in Plumer Settlement Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Cutler Chapel.
