June Lucille Swanger, 83, of Council Bluffs died Oct. 30 at Mercy Hospital.

Mrs. Swanger was born in Woodbine and was a volunteer at Christian Home and North Crest Care Center.

Survivors include her husband, Bernard; two daughters, Patty May of Logan and Mary Hance of Loomis, Calif.; four sons, Bill of Treynor, Bernie of Glenwood, Dennis of Logan and Paul Wood of Murray, Neb.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McCurdy Funeral Home with the Revs. Howard Mace, nephew, and David Erickson officiating. Burial will be in Plumer Settlement Cemetery near Glenwood.

Visitation with the family will be 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
