MRS. LENA STUEBEN DIES

She Was Resident of This County for Fifty-five Years.

Mrs. Lena Stueben, Lewis township, rural route No. 1, Council Bluffs, a resident of Pottawattamie county for fifty-five years, died Friday morning at a local hospital after an illness of four years. She was the wife of William F. Stueben, farmer.

The body was removed to Cutler's, where funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Mr. Hoff of Treynor officiating. Burial will be in the Plumer settlement, about twelve miles southeast of Council Bluffs.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Stueben is survived by two sons, Roy William Stueben and Ernest G. Stueben, both of Council Bluffs; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Seick, Grand Island, Neb., and Mrs. Stella Kissel of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Charles Burch and Chris Burch of Council Bluffs and Fred Burch of Gordon, Neb.; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Vannas, Mrs. Hannah Rooks of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Mary Asmus of Menlo and Mrs. Wilhelmina Konz of Mineola, and seven grandchildren.
