Lawrence Schroeder, 58, of Seward, Neb., died there Tuesday at his home following a short illness.
He was born in Council Bluffs and had resided at Seward the past 28 years. Schroeder was employed with the Hughes Brothers Manufacturing Co. at Seward and was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include: five brothers, Elmer, William and Frederick, all of Council Bluffs, Arnold of Wallback, Neb. and Carl of Milford, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Erwin Imig of Seward and Mrs. Herbert Nansel of Council Bluffs; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Meyer Chapel. The Rev. James Stenger, pastor of the Baptist Church of Malvern, will officiate. Interment will be in the Plumer Settlement Cemetery.
The body will arrive at the Meyer Chapel for visitation after 10 a.m. Friday.
