Henry A. Saar Passes Away
Henry A. Saar, of near Dumfries died Monday of peritonitis caused by a ruptured appendix, after an illness of only two days.
He is survived by his father, Julius J. Saar; four brothers, John Saar of Treynor, Otto Saar of Council Bluffs, Edward Saar of Mineola and Gustav Saar of near Dumfries and three sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Hopp of Glenwood, Mrs. Robert Ingram of Logan, and Mrs. William Timm of McClelland.
He had lived all his life in this community. He was a member of the Lutheran church.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical church in Dumfries. Rev. G. B. Baumann of Treynor will officiate. Burial will be in the Plumer settlement cemetery.

Henry A. Saar, 81, farmer living on Route No. 2, Council Bluffs, in Keg Creek township, died Monday of peritonitis after an illness of two days.
He had lived all of his life at his home. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

Funeral services for Henry A. Saar were held Thursday at Cutler's chapel at 1 p. m. and at St. Paul's Evangelical church in Dumfries at 2 p. m. Rev. G. B. Baumann of Treynor officiated. Music was furnished by Donald Kirchoff, Herman Heuwinkel, William Young, Theodore Basch and John Young, Organ. Pallbearers were Herman Frank, Clifford Campbell, Leo Jurgens, Harry Miller, Raymond Miller and Fred Miller. Burial was in the Plumer cemetery.
