Margaret Christiansen Rowley, 82, 2621 Ave. C, died June 9 at Mercy Hospital.
She was born in Council Bluffs and lived most of her life here. She worked as an office secretary at Morphy Drug Company for 16 years.
She was a member and past president of the Omaha Elks Club. She was a member of various bowling leagues, card clubs and square dance clubs.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Christiansen in 1964.
Survivors include her second husband of 26 years, Lyle D. Rowley; two daughters Trudi Christiansen of Rio Vista, Calif., and Sandra Fritz of Oakland; a son, Alfred “Rodney” Christiansen of Deltona, Fla.; a brother, Wayne Bauerkemper of Sidney, Neb; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodring Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert O. Boseck officiating. Burial will be in the Plumer Settlement Cemetery.
