A. D. Nansel, 71, of Omaha, died Saturday, in an Omaha hospital following a short illness.
He was born near Council Bluffs in an area formerely known as Island Park. Mr. Nansel farmed many years in Mills County. In about 1921, he moved to Omaha and was employed a long time at a department store.
Survivors include: widow, Minnie; two daughters, Mrs. Port Barron of Burbank, Calif., and Mrs. Robert Pullman of Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. W. R. Wall of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Phillip Kellogg of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brother, Joe Nansel of Glenwood; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. Monday at the Crosby Kunold Chapel in Omaha
