William "Tex" McIntosh, age 65 passed away July 5, 2013 in Baxter Springs, Kansas. He was born July 2, 1948 in Council Bluffs to the late William D. & Lola I. (Pickens) McIntosh.
Tex grew up on his family farm and was known for always helping others on their farms. He loved his dirt bike growing up and was fascinated with airplanes.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Lorraine Leaders and Colleen Anderson.
Tex is survived by his sisters, Janet Greinke of Dewey, Arizona and Mary Lou Weaver of Baxter Springs, Kansas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry & Marjorie McIntosh of Council Bluffs, and David "Tobe" & Janet McIntosh of Council Bluffs; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday 1PM at the funeral home, Pastor Judy Wozniak officiating. Interment is in the Plumer Settlement Cemetery. The family will direct memorials in Tex's honor.
