Lola I. McIntosh, 88, of Baxter Springs, Kan., and formerly of Council Bluffs, died Oct. 8 at the home of her daughter, Janet.
She was born in Peru, Neb., on Nov. 7, 1914, to William and Etta Mae (Mabbitt) Pickens.
She married William “Dave” McIntosh and they farmed in Mills County. She moved to Baxter Springs in 2000. She was a former member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry and wife, Margie, of Council Bluffs, David “Tobey” and wife, Janet, of Council Bluffs and William “Tex” of Baxter Springs; two daughters, Janet Mae “Sally” Greinke and husband, Louis, of Baxter Springs and Mary Lou Weaver and husband, Herb, of Baxter Springs; two sisters, Ruth Berry and husband, Earl, of Tunas, Mo., and Betty Johnson of Tempe, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, Plumer Settlement with the Rev. Mark Kukkonen officiating. Burial will be in Plumer Settlement Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Salem Lutheran Church.
