Marietta McCleery

Marietta (Green) McCleery, 55, of Lewistown, Ill., died Sunday at her home in Lewistown

Mrs. McCleery was born in Council Bluffs and lived most of her life here. She received a master's degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and worked as a social worker in mental health clinics in Omaha.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; one stepdaughter, Robin McCleery of Lincoln, Neb.; one stepson, David McCleery of Lincoln; and two stepgrandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Plumer Settlement Cemetery with the Rev. Clemens Hartfield officiating.

Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
