Mrs. Henrietta Green of Pacific Junction, a long-time resident of Mills county, died Sunday at Glen Haven Home on her 84th birthday.
She was born at Earling March 17, 1884.
Surviving are three step-children, Mrs. William (Helen) Hill of Glenwood, Walter H. Green of Pacific Junction and Richard W. Green of Council Bluffs; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Poore, Sr., of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Will Klindt of Ogalalla, Neb., and a brother, C. H. Brandt of Council Bluffs.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon from Raynor, Lett and Kent Funeral Home with the Rev. F. G. Barnes and Henry Brown officiating. Burial was in Plumer Settlement cemetery.
Henrietta Anna Green, 84, daughter of Henry and Helena Brandt, was born March 17, 1884, at Earling. While a young girl the family moved to Council Bluffs and she received her education there and in the rural schools of Mills county.
On Nov. 3, 1904, she was married to William E. Blood, who preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1952.
On March 23, 1964, she was united in marriage to William D. Green at Aurora, Colo., and he preceded her in death Nov. 15, 1964.
Mrs. Green made her home in Pacific Junction at the home of her step-son, Walter Green, after her return from Colorado. Ill health caused her to become a patient at Glen Haven Rest Home in Glenwood, and it was there she died on her birthday, Sunday, March 17.
Surviving are three step-children, Mrs. William (Helen) Hill of Glenwood, Walter H. Green of Pacific Junction and Richard W. Green of Council Bluffs; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Poore, Sr., of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Will Klindt of Ogallala, Neb., and one brother, C. H. Brandt of Council Bluffs.
Services were held at 2 p.m. March 20 from Raynor, Lett and Kent Funeral Home with the Rev. F. G. Barnes and Henry Brown officiating. Mrs. Francis Dashner was organist.
Flower bearers were Mrs. Dale Asmussen and Mrs. David Hill. Pallbearers were David Hill, Daniel Hill, Barry Jones, Brandt Poore, Dennis Green and Charles Brandt. Burial was in Plumer cemetery.
