Chris Enselman Sr.

Chris Enselman Sr., 84, a long-time resident of Mills County, died Wednesday at a Council Bluffs hospital following a three-weeks illness. He was a retired farmer.

Enselman was born in Peoria, Ill., and moved to Mills County 60 years ago.

Survivors include: six daughters, Mrs. Amelia Thieschafer and Mrs. Viola Scheidle of Route 1, Mrs. Bessie Zimmermann, Mrs. Julia Klindt and Mrs. Mary Kellogg, all of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Maggie Huff of Silver City; two sons, Louie H. and Chris Jr., both of Route 1; 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m., at the Cutler Funeral Home, with the Rev. O. C. Biermann of Glenwood officiating. Burial will be at Plumer Settlement Cemetery.
