Mrs. Anna Enselman, 74, wife of Chris Enselman, died of a stroke Thursday evening at her home in St. Mary's township in Mills county. She had been ill for four months.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from Cutler's chapel, the Rev. O. C. Biermann officiating. Burial will be in the Plumer Settlement cemetery.
Mrs. Enselman is survived, besides her husband, by two sons, Louis of Council Bluffs and Chris at home; six daughters, Mrs. Henry Thieschafer, Mrs. John Zimmerman, Mrs. Walter Klindt, Mrs. Joe Kellogg, Mrs. Mrs. William Scheidle, all of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. William Huff, of Silver City; one sister, Mrs. Julia Miller, Council Bluffs, 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The Cutler funeral home is in charge.
Mrs. Anna Enselman passed away at her home in St. Mary's Township, July 16, at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 4 days. She had been ill for the past four years. Mrs. Enselman had been a lifelong resident of St. Mary's township.
On February 27, 1889, Anna Busse was united in marriage to Chris Enselman. To this union eight childen were born. They are: Chris, Jr., at home, Louis of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Henry Thieschafer, Sr., Mrs. John Zimmerman, Mrs. Walter Klindt, Mrs. Joe Kellogg, Mrs. William Scheidle, all of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. William Huff of Silver City.
Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Julia Miller of Council Bluffs, 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Cutler Funeral Home in Council Bluffs with the Rev. O. C. Bierman of Mineola officiating.
Those who served as pallbearers were Henry Thieschafer, Jr., Edwin Zimmerman, William Huff, Jr., Clifford Stille, Walter Thieschafer and John Zimmerman, Jr.
Burial was made in the Plumer Settlement cemetery.
