Chester C. Crane

Chester C. Crane, 59, 620 E. Pierce St., died Thursday at a local hospital after a short illness.

Born at Crescent, he had resided in the Council Bluffs area all of his life. He was a retired welder.

Survivors include:
Widow, Pearl; two sons, Norman and Don, both of Council Bluffs; daughter, Mrs. Wesley (LaVonne) Knauss of Carroll; brother, Harold of Council Bluffs; mother, Mrs. Nancy Crane of Council Bluffs; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Meyer Chapel. The Rev. W. E. Wicklund of St. John's Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be at Plumer Cemetery.
