Funeral for Rowland “Rollie” Burck, 77, a lifetime resident of Council Bluffs, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Cutler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Moore, of St. Paul's Evangelical Country Church, officiating.

Mr. Burck died April 7 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital.

He was born in Council Bluffs and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Country Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther, in 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet Hartman, and husband Kevin, of Blair, Neb.; a son, Laverne, of Council Bluffs; and two grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Plumer Settlement Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the American Heart Association.
