Minnie A. Brandt

Minnie A. Brandt, 85, resident at Northcrest Care Center, died at a local hospital Wednesday after an extended illness.

She was born at Minden. After her marriage she and her husband, Albert C. Brandt, farmed many years in Council Bluffs. He died in March 1962.

Survivors include a son, Walter “Doc” Brandt of Council Bluffs; daughter, Mrs. George (Irene) Walker of Council Bluffs; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Meyer Chapel. The Rev. Walter John Boris, pastor of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment will be in Plumer Settlement Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 8 tonight at Meyer's
