Helen S. Brandt

Helen S. Brandt, 92, Route 1, died early today at Oakland Manor nursing home at Oakland after an extended illness.

She was born at Lawton and resided many years in Council Bluffs. Her husband, Carl Brandt, died in 1939. Mrs. Brandt was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Paul H. Brandt of Council Bluffs; a daughter, Mae M. Brandt of Council Bluffs; two brothers, Henry Plumer of Seal Beach, Calif., and Herbert Plumer of Lawton; two sisters, Clara Winn of Ida Grove and Emaline Lowe of Des Moines; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Meyer Funeral Home. The Rev. Clemens Hartfield, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Plumer Settlement. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
