Mrs. Cassie Emily Brandt, 59, Route 1, died Saturday evening at her farm home.
She had been under treatment for a heart condition during the past five years. She suffered a heart attack in her yard, while out walking.
Survivors include: husband, John G., Route 1; son, Albert, Route 1; three daughters, Mrs. Myrna Lodge of Route 1, Mrs. Betty Terry of McClelland, Mrs. Darlene Lynquist, of Essex; four brothers.
The body is at Meyer Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cassie Emily Brandt, 69, of Route 1, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Meyer Chapel. The Rev. Leonard Fritschel, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be at the Plumer Settlement Cemetery.
Mrs. Brandt died Saturday at her farm home following a brief illness. She had suffered an apparent heart attack while walking in her yard.
Mrs. Brandt was born at Fort Crook, Neb., and had resided in the Council Bluffs farm area 48 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Mineola.
Survivors include: husband, John G.; son, Albert, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Myrna Lodge, Council Bluffs, Mrs. Betty Terry of McClelland, Mrs. Darlene Lynquist of Essex; four brothers, Gus Eby of Bellevue, Neb., Chet and Frank Eby, both of Omaha and Bob Eby of Papillion, Neb.; and nine grandchildren.
