Carl J. Brandt Dies at Hospital

Carl J. Brandt, 56, farmer, Council Bluffs Route 1, Lewis township, died of heart disease at a local hospital at 3:30 p.m., Sunday. Brandt had lived all his life in this section.

Surviving him is his widow, Mrs. Helen Brandt; one son, Paul Brandt; one daugther, May Brandt; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Bernard Brandt of Council Bluffs; two brothers, John Brandt and Albert Brandt, both of Council Bluffs; and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Bostedt and Mrs. Julia Vandeerveer, also of Council Bluffs. The body is in the Cutler Funeral Home.
