Ferdinand Beck, of Lewis township, is very low with typhoid fever, and fatal results are feared unless there is a speedy change for the better.


FERDINAND BECK, son of C. Beck, died last Friday night at 11:15 o'clock at the home of his parents, two and one-half miles east of the Institution for the Deaf and Dumb. The deceased was aged 25 years, and was an exemplary young man, universally respected by all who knew him. The funeral will take place at 1 o'clock this afternoon, the services being conducted at the German Lutheran church in the Plumer settlement.
