George H. Bauerkemper, 76, Keil Hotel, died Saturday at a local hospital following a two-weeks illness.
A lifelong resident of Pottawattamie County, Mr. Bauerkemper was a retired Lewis Township farmer.
He was a member of Amber Lodge 569, AF and AM, of Quick and a charter member of Council Bluffs Chapter White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Survivors include: two sons, Irwin M. of Las Cruces, N. M., and Wayne of Sidney, Neb.; daughter, Mrs. Margaret L. Christiansen, Council Bluffs; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Markel and Miss Louise Bauerkemper, both of Silver City; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Woodring Funeral Home is in charge.
Funeral services for George H. Bauerkemper, 76, Keil Hotel, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Woodring Chapel. Interment will be at Plumer Cemetery.
