Doings of the Death Angel

Jochim Arp, aged 78 years, died of kidney trouble at 2 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home 10 miles northwest of Glenwood in St. Mary's township. He was a well known farmer, and had been a resident of that vicinity for twenty years. He is survived by a wife and six children. The children are Henry Arp of Randolph, Neb.; William, Emil and Otto Arp of Council Bluffs; Charles Arp of Pender, Neb.; and Mrs Emma Schiemeir of Council Bluffs.

The funeral was held from the residence at 11 o'clock Thursday morning and service was held at the brick church in the Bloomer (Plumer) settlement at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, Rev. Mr. Hoff officiating. Burial took place in the Bloomer (Plumer) cemetery.
